Published in the latest NZ Women's Weekly, Hartnell's 'Fashion Hits & Misses 2009' list notes that Diplomatic Immunity star, Craig Parker, is "no slave to fashion. Casual or tailored, this star's wardrobe works perfectly for him." Well done, Craig!

Craig's Diplomatic Immunity and Spartacus co-star, Lesley-Ann Brant, mentions Craig in an interview HERE.

Also, Craig's co-stars in Legend of the Seeker have a few things to say about him in an interview HERE.

I've also added a couple new photos in the Spartacus gallery, with more to come later in the week.

I have a ton of updates to be making which I'll try to do this week when I'll hopefully have a bit more time. In the meantime, here's a new poster for season two of Legend of the Seeker, which starts this weekend.

I started a gallery for Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans and added a photo here. I'll start adding more photos when I'm done capping all the Diplomatic Immunity pics.

I've added about 30 new Diplomatic Immunity pics from episode three here.

gimme.co.nz is having a contest to win a season 1 DVD set of Diplomatic Immunity here.. I'm assuming that it's for New Zealand residents only, but if anyone else finds out otherwise, please let me know.

If you'd like to buy the set, this site takes international orders: Mighty Ape. Check the region of your DVD player before purchasing!

At San Diego Comic Con last month there were two sets of promotional trading cards for Spartacus. One set had a card of Craig. Apparently they're really nice hologram cards and as soon as I get mine in the mail, I'll scan it for the site. In the meantime, here's a not-so-good quality pic of the set:

Craig has been added to the Dragon*Con schedule in Atlanta, GA, here in the US. Luckily, that's where I live, so I'll be able to take a bunch of pictures/video to share with everyone.

Also, I was contacted Dan Fisher of Formaturia Productions to give me some information on the JENARIUM project that Craig has been involved with. He had this to say:

I would like to let you know that JENARIUM is a mythology, that will be broken into two main areas for now:

1) Book/Books
2) Album/CD

There has been talk of a video game and potential movie spin off, however nothing solid at this stage. Craig's involvement at this stage is solely with the JENARIUM Album/CD, (in which he narrated), as the JENARIUM game does not exist as of yet. The album will be pre released to all members of JENARIUM this December!
For more information, please visit the official site.

Here's an interesting article on celebrities, with a mention of Craig, including a link to this site. Craig fans are everywhere! Thanks to Talasi and Laura for pointing it out, and to Gayle Stever for the mention.

One last thing... I started back to school last fall, so updates on this site have been sparse. Sorry about that! I am going to try and keep up with what's going on, but please forgive me if I'm a little slow.

As always, I can be reached at bear@craig-parker.net, or through facebook. I've taken the online mailing form down because I was getting insane amounts of spam through it. It always helps to add Craig's name in your message subject so your message doesn't get deleted on accident.

There is a new trailer out for the upcoming series Spartacus that Craig will be in on the US cable channel Starz. You can see him quite prominently, and the series looks to be quite good.

I'm a couple months behind on updating. Sorry about that!

I created a Facebook page a few months ago, but never got around to actually doing anything with it until today. I've created a news feed into the notes section, so if you have a Facebook account, you can subscribe to it. C-P.net on Facebook here.

Craig has narrated a new game called Jenarium: Rise of the New Sun. Visit the official website.

There's a small interview with Craig at 3news.co.nz. New US fantasy TV series being made in NZ

Good news for those of you outside the US! You can now purchase each episode of LotS after it airs through the iTunes store.

You can download the premiere 2-hour episode of Legend of the Seeker in two parts. They are .flv files, so you'll need a VLC player to play them. I know nothing about these files, so if you're having trouble playing them, try a VLC support group. These files are watermarked, unfortunately.

LotS part 1

LotS part 2

I did a pretty terrible job recording it myself in sections, but I can upload mine in MP4 format if anyone is interested.

The official site for Legend of the Seeker has updated with several videos of the cast, including one of Craig. See them here.

Also, there's an unofficial fansite for LotS, which looks to have a lot of great info from the TV show and the books. Thanks to Amanda for letting me know about it!

Sorry if you're seeing this post twice, but I posted on Saturday night, and it wasn't showing up on several friends' lists, so I'm posting it again.

I recorded the documentary "Making of a Legend" on my tivo, and was able to convert the file to a M4V, which should be playable through iTunes if you import it into your iTunes library. I was also able to play it through Quicktime.

Download the documentary here.

Unfortunately, if any of you have trouble playing it, I'm not going to be able to help you figure out why, as I know nothing about these file formats. PLEASE DO NOT upload this documentary anywhere else!

I also made a few screen caps of Craig, which I added to the new section of the photo gallery here.

I also started a page for the new TV series that you can check out here.

From IGN.com:

October 16, 2008 - The new syndicated fantasy series Legend of the Seeker is premiering the weekend of November 1st, but viewers will be able to get a preview starting this weekend. The special The Making of a Legend will be airing beginning October 18th.

The special is hosted by Lucy Lawless, who of course starred in Xena: Warrior Princess. Legend of the Seeker sees Lawless' Xena producers, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, return to the syndicated fantasy arena, having had tremendous success there with Xena and Hercules. Lawless is married to Tapert.

The Making of a Legend provides interviews and a preview with the executive producers, including Raimi and Tapert; lead actors, Craig Horner and Bridget Regan; as well as the teams responsible for the special effects, stunts and costume designs. about this journal
Craig Parker was a quiet, home-loving actor from the clean, green land of New Zealand. Not that much different from a Hobbit, except taller and without the hairy toes. To maintain his need for clothes, shoes and chardonnay, Craig played numerous roles in theatre, film and television. Life was good. Unfortunately, after playing demi-gods, Bellerophon in Xena and Lucius in Young Hercules, Craig's ego went mad and he started insisting on only playing immortal characters. Thankfully, Mr. Peter Jackson took pity, stuck a blond wig on him and cast him as Haldir in Lord of the Rings. And so he would have lived happily ever after, had not he pushed in front of Mr Jackson in the lunch queue and, strangely, that very afternoon, the script changed to have Haldir lead a troupe of elves into Helms Deep only to suffer an urk-hai axe in the back and a slow, lingering death in the arms of Aragorn. Craig currently lives in London where the shoes are fantastic.
